Nick Thompson
is a high school English teacher at Lassiter High School in Marietta, GA. He is also a doctoral student at Kennesaw State University. He has taught university classes focused on English education and served as the university supervisor for preservice teachers during their student-teaching experiences. He served as on the board of GCTE as co-director of the conference from 2022-2023. He served on the board for the Journal of Language and Literacy (JoLLE) from 2015-2018 and served as the editor in chief from 2017-2018. His research interests include professional development, English teacher education, and the Lives of Teachers.
Rob Montgomery
taught high school English for ten years and is now an Associate Professor of English and English Education at Kennesaw State University, where he serves as the Program Coordinator for the undergraduate English Education program. He co-directed the Kennesaw Mountain Writing Project Invitational Summer Institute from 2011-2017 and is currently on the editorial board for Writers Who Care, a peer-reviewed blog maintained by the Commission on Writing Teacher Education. His interests include teacher education, providing authentic reading and writing experiences for students, and exploring innovative ways of dealing with standards and assessment in the classroom.
