Hey, welcome to my page! I am Geoff Chih-Fan Chen (陳之藩). Currently I am a postdoc scholar working with Prof. Tommaso Treu in the Department of UCLA Division of Astronomy & Astrophysics department. Before working at UCLA, I earned my Ph.D. in UC Davis with Prof. Chris Fassnacht. I earned my master's degrees with Prof. Sherry Suyu in physics at National Taiwan University (NTU)/ ASIAA and did my undergrade at NTU.
My primary research study cosmology with gravitational lensing. I am the main person driving the Hubble constant measurement from the ground-based adaptive-optics technique with the Keck telescope. With the next generation of Keck telescope (KAPA), I will be able to access hundred of time-delay lenses and further push down the measurement of H0 to 1%.
I am currently an active member in the TDCOSMO collaboration.
