Sound Effects Fundraiser

Sound effects was created in 2024 by a committee of members of the Greene County Community Band. This exists to help Greene County Students purchase and repair instruments to help them stay in band.

Studies have shown that students who stay in band in school have better success throughout their life than their peers who do not continue in a music program. Band instruments are very expensive and hard to maintain if families and students do not have the means to do so. Students also do not have a large variety of options of instruments to use from the school so they are left with broken and undesirable instruments. 

Our goal is to raise $20,000 in the next year to help purchase instruments for students around Greene County.
