    • On what date does the course begin? The course begins on Monday October 25.

    • How long is the class? This is an 8 week, online course. The course ends on December 18.

    • What date do students need to log in by? You can access our class in Canvas as early as Thursday October 21. Expect a welcome message via GCC email and Canvas Inbox.

    • Are there live (online or in-person) sessions? No. This class is fully online. No Zoom sessions.

    • What if I need a computer device? You can visit the Check Our A Laptop or a Device page.

    • What are the due dates for week one? We are required to complete our "Check In Activities" by Thursday of Week 1. Expect email reminders to enable students to stay on task. We all need a little nudge every once in a while

    • Is there a required textbook? No. There is no textbook. All reading material will be available in our Canvas course.

    • What materials do students need to have in week one? We need our computers and mobile devices to access our class.

    • How do I know I am ready for an online class? You can visit the "Are You Ready for an Online Class" page.

    • What if I am overwhelmed with stress due to Covid or other social/personal issues? Contact GCC ONLINE Counseling. They will offer options for your peace of mind. They are on your side. Asking for help is part of everyone's successful college experience. (Excused Withdrawls - EWs are STILL being offered as an option for students who need to drop a course. An EW excuses you from a class. It will NOT penalize your GPA. An EW is meant to ease any unnecessary stress.)
