FOSTER OPPORTUNITIES🐶🐱
DOG/PUPPY:
Dogs- to find them a new home (minimum 2-week commitment)
Sick hold dogs- upper respiratory infection (2-14 day commitment)
Doggy Sleepover (1-3 night commitment, can decide to adopt or foster after this period)
Medical dogs/puppies- as needed (recovery from surgery, amputation, crate rest, etc.)
Puppies- bottle baby, weaning, with mom, or sick with upper respiratory
CAT/KITTEN:
Kittens- bottle baby, weaning, with mom, or sick with upper respiratory
Medical cats/kittens- as needed (recovery from surgery, amputation, crate rest, etc.)
*Any foster animal must be kept separate from other pets to allow for decompression and to prevent the potential spread of illness.
*If your end goal is adoption you can:
(Dogs)
Adopt with a 30-day return period to ensure it's a good fit
Foster as a 'Doggy Sleepover' for 1-3 nights before deciding to adopt. Longer-term dog fostering is only for helping the dog find a different forever home.
(Cats)
Kitten fostering is to help them grow and return to the shelter for adoption. If you want to adopt, view adopable cats here.
