GAUGE PRIVACY POLICY
OVERVIEW
GAUGE is designed to be private by default. The app runs on your device. There is no account, no sign-up, and no login. GAUGE does not track you, does not show ads, and does not use an advertising identifier. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens with your information.
WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Your questions, answers, scores, streaks, history, and calibration record are stored on your device. GAUGE does not require you to create an account and does not upload your identity or your personal profile to run.
AI FEATURES
GAUGE includes a few optional AI touches, such as a short insight after a set and on-demand context on an answer. To provide these, GAUGE sends only anonymized aggregate statistics to a third-party AI provider. This means summary figures about your calibration, such as binned confidence and accuracy or coverage by domain. GAUGE never sends your identity, your device identifiers, or your raw per-answer logs.
NO TRACKING, NO ADS
GAUGE does not include analytics tracking, advertising, or an advertising identifier, and does not build an advertising profile of you.
PURCHASES
Any purchases are processed by Apple, and the app never sees your payment details.
YOUR DATA, YOUR CONTROL
You can export your record as a CSV file at any time, and you can delete everything from within the app at any time.
CHILDREN
GAUGE is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
