The details below describe the process for booking and team selection. You can open the fixture list in a new tab using the button opposite. The completed fixtures and results summary will be updated as we go through the season.
Start times are 11.00am unless otherwise stated. Players should arrive at least 45 minutes prior to this time. Refreshments are available on arrival.
A list is published on this site 4 weeks prior to the fixture to ask for expressions of interest in playing. The list closes 2 weeks prior to the fixture date to enable team selection. Members are notified of their selection by email (a meeting invitation) and via a list posted on this site. Please click the "accept" button on your calendar invitation.
The team comprises 14 players, except for Southport and Ellesmere where 16 are required, and for Shaw Hill where we have 12.
We appoint up to six reserves for each fixture in the expectation that those players can keep the date free in case they are needed.
Match fees are £3 per player, plus a voluntary donation for gratuities for home fixtures only (recommended £1).

Selection for the first fixture is made by ballot. For subsequent fixtures, selection will be prioritised based on appearances with a view to sharing the load. This process also takes account of the balance between home and away fixtures to make sure that those who support our home fixtures have an equal chance of selection for away fixtures.
