COOPER FRANCIS (FRANCE, 1943)

Cooper Francis is a slightly older British Airman, in his 30s, with dark hair and a rugged appearance. He is calm under pressure and acts as a protective big brother to Quentin Watson. Cooper has a strong sense of duty and a no-nonsense attitude. Cooper is a downed British airman, more cautious and pragmatic than his copilot. He is focused on survival and getting both of them out safely, often acting as the voice of reason.

ELENA MARQUEZ (Independent Researcher)

Elena is a seasoned nonagenarian historian and relic hunter. She has silver-streaked gray hair, usually tied back in a severe bun, and sharp, intelligent eyes behind thin rimmed glasses. Despite her thin, aged frame, Elena's demeanor is calm and composed, exuding an air of authority and experience. Her wardrobe is a blend of practicality and understated elegance, often seen in well-worn field clothes or smart, professional attire during academic engagements. Elena has refused to retire several times over, and still continues to go on. "La retraite me tuerait", she's fond of saying: "Retirement would kill me". Elena is a key source of knowledge and a catalyst for the heroes' quest. With decades of experience uncovering ancient artifacts and secrets, she is both a mentor and guide, even to the ancients. Her deep understanding of Immortal Lore and the Heart of Eternity makes her an invaluable ally.

FATHER GERVAIS PIERRE (FRANCE, 1943)

Father Pierre is a steadfast and compassionate priest in his late 50s, with a weathered face and kind eyes. He has been the caretaker of Église Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis for many years and is deeply respected by the local community. Father Pierre provides sanctuary and aid to those in need, regardless of their background or affiliation. He is a crucial ally, using his knowledge of the church's hidden passages and his connections with the Resistance to help those seeking refuge.

HENRI LECLERC (Bookshop Owner, Librairie des Érudits)

Henri is a middle-aged man with graying hair, a neatly trimmed beard, and round glasses perched on his nose. He has a calm and scholarly demeanor, wearing a tweed vest and a bow tie. Henri runs the bookshop above the Hidden Library. He is knowledgeable and discreet, aware of the library's existence, but not privy to its more secretive aspects.

ISABELLE FOURNIER (Researcher)

A young woman of about 26, with curly brown hair tied back in a ponytail and an inquisitive expression. She dresses practically, in jeans and a comfortable sweater, and carries a satchel filled with notebooks. Isabelle spends most of her time in the Hidden LIbrary, working on her doctoral thesis about medieval occult practices. She's passionate and driven, often losing track of time as she dives into her studies.

JEAN-LUC DUBOIS (Custodian)

An elderly man with a stooped posture, white hair, and a weathered face. He wears simple, workman's clothing and moves slowly but deliberately. The custodian of the Hidden Library, Jean-Luc maintains the library's upkeep and ensures everything is in order. He's been working there for decades and knows the library's secrets better than anyone.

"NIGHTINGALE" / YAEL MITTERMEIER (FRANCE, 1943)

The civilian German medic, Yael Mittermeier is actually Kris Tennant, a British Spy based out of Le Marais. In their early 30s, Kris is adept at blending in and maintaining cover. They have a calm demeanor, with keen eyes that miss nothing. Nightingale is a crucial link in the French Intelligence Network, carrying vital information that could turn the tide of  war. They use their position as a medic/nurse to move freely and gather intelligence while aiding those in need.
