2026 Book Fair

Are you Yeti to enter the Mythical Reading Realm of Fiction and Fairies?!

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Gaskill March 2-5! 

We are excited about the Fair and wanted to share additional information for families. Proceeds from the Book Fair help to keep our library fresh and up-to-date with the latest titles and series. We are also hoping to purchase a new book binding and cover repair machine to extend the life of our well loved books. Details about the Fair, including shopping hours, can be found in this letter which will be in take home folders this week. (Spanish version) Families and friends can shop in person or online. 

There are a few things to know in addition to the information in the letter:

Free Books for Students

This year, the PTO is providing one free book for every Gaskill student. In coordination with classroom teachers, your student(s) will choose a book from a curated list based on reading level and availability. Please ask your students which free book they have chosen to ensure that you do not also buy the same title. We will have a list of the books offered by grade level at the book fair for reference. The free books should be delivered to classrooms before spring break.

Say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, you can set up eWallet for cash-free purchases. 

Book Fair Spirit Days

These dress-up days are optional and are only meant to add to the fun!

• Mythical Monday (dragons, knights, fairies, krakens, yetis)

• Dress as your favorite book character Tuesday

• Gaskill Spirit Day Wednesday

Volunteering
