Gary Irish is a digital artist and horticulturalist. He worked for a number of years in the fields of satellite based remote sensing and geographic information systems. This work provided extensive experience with a variety of types of digital imagery and its processing into a variety of forms. He has illustrated a number of horticultural books and articles with his photography of plants.
