MOSAIC
Midwest Online Seminar for Applied Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Midwest Online Seminar for Applied Interdisciplinary Collaboration
MOSAIC is an applied math seminar that I co-founded and co-organize. It is aimed at connecting graduate students and postdocs across the Midwest. We emphasize collaborative growth, impactful research, and professional development in applied mathematics through building a community of interdisciplinary researchers. The purpose is to allow early career researchers to share the work that they are doing, provide opportunity for questions and connections, and to spread knowledge as well as information about opportunities such as conferences within our region.
The seminar will be held every second Tuesday of each month from October to December and February to May. All talks will be over Zoom and will be around 30 minutes long with time for discussion afterwards.
