Education Plan
I have several aspirations while I am attending Dominican University. I have a passion for Nursing because I want to take care of others when I am older. My caring nature has always pushed me to pursue a career that involves taking care of patients. Throughout my four years at Dominican University, I want to stay in the Honors Program and make the Dean's List as many times as I can. I also want to take advantage of all of the internships available for students and service learning classes as I enjoy volunteering. While I attend school, I also want to continue to practice the guitar and ukulele. Below are just a few of the experiences I want to accomplish by the time I graduate:
Take multiple service-learning courses or find a volunteer service off campus
Find an internship relating to health care
Attend on a Global Immersion Experience
Continue to play guitar and the ukulele
Updates as of 2020:
I have taken two service-learning classes that both involved assisting minority students in Marin County
Currently taking my third service-learning class that involves making telehealth nursing calls with elderly clients from West Marin
Completed multiple nursing clinical rotations such as Med-Surg I and II, Geriatrics, Psychiatric, Maternity, and Pediatrics
Attended a Global Immersion Experience in Fremont
Learned to play the electric guitar
Received Dean's List honors every semester
