PARENT AS PARTNERS

Parents make the best partner for the child care center. We have many ways that you can help both inside and outside the classroom. If you have as little as an hour to spare there are many opportunities for you to assist.

Would you be interested in being a "guest" in our classroom?

• Could you be a story reader?

• Is there a special topic that you would like to see incorporated into the curriculum? (e.g., adoption, new siblings, moving to a new home)

• Teach a song?

• Help with an art project?

• Is there a special interest or talent you would like to share with the children?

Would you be interested in helping outside the classroom?

• Could you make copies

• Cut out materials

• Organize crafts

• Many other opportunities

Would you be interested in helping with a special event?

• Assist with planning special events, Trunk or Treat, Family fun Day

• Assist with special events

• Plan or assist with a special classroom topic

• Assist with classroom parties

• Assist with cooking projects
