At Garden of Eve Learning Circle (GELC), our dedicated caregivers provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment focused on the developmental growth of each child. Our mission is to support physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development while ensuring children feel secure and valued.
We offer a family-like atmosphere where children are cared for in age-appropriate groups, promoting growth through play. Play is essential in helping children develop skills in language, math, pre-reading, writing, and social interaction.
With years of experience, we turn play into a creative learning tool, keeping children engaged and curious. Partnering with parents, we bridge the gap between home and school, providing high-quality care and education for the future.

As a mother of seven, I come from a family that values love, care, and the belief that the needs of children must always come first. I have dedicated much of my life to ensuring that the best possible care is provided for every child. With a Bachelor’s degree and extensive studies in Early Childhood Development, I have accumulated many years of experience working with children. My career has allowed me to be employed at some of the finest centers and schools in Wayne County. I earned my Associate’s degree from Henry Ford Community College, which is accredited by NAEYC, and my Bachelor’s from Rochester University. My specialization lies in caring for children from birth to five years old, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Special Education at Eastern Michigan University.
Our team is made up of nurturing, compassionate caregivers who are handpicked for their warm and loving nature, as well as their sincere dedication to their roles. Every caregiver on staff has completed CPR and First Aid training, which is renewed annually. Additionally, all caregivers are required to complete a minimum of 18 clock hours of training in child care each year to stay current in the field. To ensure the safety and well-being of all children, criminal history checks, reference checks, and employment verifications are performed on all employees. Together, our staff and I work tirelessly to create an environment that is supportive, loving, and enriching for the children we care for.
