Venue & Travel

The meeting will be held in person at the Max-Planck-Institut für Astronomie (MPIA) in Heidelberg, Germany. The poster session will take place at the Haus der Astronomie (HdA), just across the parking lot from the main MPIA building where the meeting will be held. The Hörsaal and Seminarraum have been booked for the conference. These adjacent rooms are located on the top floor of the main building, right next to the stairs. The Hörsaal will be used for the main meeting, while the Seminarraum will serve as the poster room and a space for coffee breaks and other activities.

We will arrange the shuttle buses from the Heidelberg downtown to MPIA in Monday morning & evening, Tuesday morning & evening, and Wednesday morning. All attendees will be charged the shuttle fees. The public transportation to the MPIA from the downtown is very limited, 1 bus per 30 min even during the rush hour. The bus is usually fully occupied every day.
