Quest #7 Organize Your Unit in Google Sites

If you haven’t used Google Sites before, you will probably want to watch this quick tutorial video before getting started.

Here is a clickable link to take you directly to Google Sites when you are ready to get started!

These are my recommendations for creating a website for your Mission!

Theme/Layout

      • Site is pleasant to view.
      • The navigation is easy to follow.
      • It is immediately clear what the purpose of this site is.

Pages

At a minimum:

      • There is an introduction page.
      • There is a leaderboard page.
      • There are five quest pages.
      • There is a summative assessment explained or linked on a page.

Quests

Each quests has a minimum of any combination of three:

      • Text instructions
      • Slide deck
      • Hyperdoc
      • Video
      • Virtual lab
      • Other interactive digital resource
      • Point based assessment such as Kahoot, Form, Jeopardy, Scavenger hunt, Virtual lab, Edpuzzle video (quiz embedded within a Youtube video)

Leaderboard

      • Your leaderboard should be linked or embedded at your site.
      • The leaderboard should show the gamertag, score and any badges you plan to use.
      • One or more sample user(s) should be on the board.

Sharing Rights

      • Your site needs to be published publicly if you are taking this for graduate credit, otherwise publish it however you want!

You have made it to the end! Now it's time to reflect! Go on to Quest #8.
