Weekly Challenge #3

Base XP: 300

This is a Literary Analysis Quest.

It is both Individual, in that you write your own piece, and a group quest, in that you need to participate in a Writer's Workshop to earn the full base XP. You may work together to annotate and understand the text.

Your Task:

In a paragraph of at least 150 words, address the following prompt. Be sure to organize and plan your work before starting. The assessment of your answer will be based on the appropriateness of the examples you use as well as the adequacy of your explanation and the quality of your written expression.

IN OTHER WORDS:

  • I want an outline.
  • I want the best citations.
  • I want clear explanations.
  • I want you to think about what you're writing, how you're writing it, and why you're choosing your particular words.

Discuss the characterization of Prufrock in "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" by T.S. Eliot.

The text is available in the Content Library on OneNote, as well as a handout in class.

If you want to be considered for the Weekly Challenge Competition, your responses need to be in to me by Saturday. I will announce winner in class on Monday.
