ROQUE AT THE OLYMPICS

At the 1904 Summer Olympics held in St. Louis, a roque tournament was featured and played at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition at the Francis Field at the Main Olympic Stadium on the campus of Washington University.   Play began on August 3, 1904, and concluded on August 8, 1904.   The United States was the only nation with athletes participating in the tournament.  Roque was short-lived at the Olympics as this was the only year it it was featured (Source) 

The competitors played a double round-robin tournament, with each player facing every other player twice (Source)

Gold Medal:      Charles Jacobus (USA) 5 and 1

Silver Medal:    Smith Streeter (USA) 4 and 2

Bronze Medal:  Charles Brown (USA)  2 and 4

4th Place:  William Chalfant (USA) 1 and 5
