Step 2: Play! (15 minutes)

Watch the video to learn how to play.
Get the deck of cards.
Open the full rules so you can look up any questions you encounter.
Start playing!

Step 3: Make your version of the game. (20 minutes)

Decide on a topic that you might teach in school and that would fit this game.
Open a copy of this Planning Sheet and start filling it out based on your selected topic.
- Here's the card template that students would complete. For today's activity that digital version is optional.
When it comes time to create your cards, divide up the paper templates and create as many cards as you can.

Step 4: Test your game. (20 minutes)

Using your cards, play your version of the game to see how it works. If you have the extra time...

Think of other rules or card effects you could add to make the game fit your theme even more.

Step 5: Reflection

As a group, work through this Reflection Sheet. (This sheet is similar to the usual student reflection sheet, but it includes some questions so you can consider this conference experience as a teacher.)
Each group member should complete this Reflection and Feedback form for Mike and Clark.
