Smart Media Player – Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Smart Media Player. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Media Player accesses, uses, collects, and shares information when you use the application.
Smart Media Player operates primarily on your device and your local network.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not operate a server that collects or stores your name, email address, phone number, media files, camera recordings, or voice recordings.
However, Smart Media Player uses third-party services, including Google Mobile Ads, which may automatically collect and share certain device and usage information.
Depending on the services used and applicable privacy choices, this information may include:
IP address, which may be used to estimate a device's general location.
App interactions, such as app launches, taps, and interactions with advertisements.
Diagnostic information relating to the performance of the app and advertising SDK.
Device or other identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID, App Set ID, and other applicable device/account identifiers.
This information may be used by Google for purposes including advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance.
The Camera permission is used only when you choose to use camera-related features such as capturing, recording, or streaming video.
Camera content is processed for the functions you initiate.
The Microphone permission is used for voice communication, audio recording, and related features initiated by the user.
Smart Media Player may request access to media stored on your device so that you can browse, play, manage, share, or stream your own media.
Your media remains on your device unless you explicitly initiate a feature that transfers or streams it.
Smart Media Player uses LAN/Wi-Fi connections to communicate with compatible devices and provide features such as media sharing, remote media control, voice communication, and camera streaming.
These communications are initiated as part of the application's device-to-device features.
Smart Media Player may use a foreground service to provide continuous media playback, streaming, communication, and related functionality.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Certain data may, however, be transmitted to and processed by third-party service providers required to provide features included in Smart Media Player.
In particular, the application uses Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Google may collect and share information such as app interactions, diagnostic information, IP address, and device or other identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes.
Your own media files, camera content, and microphone content are not provided to Google AdMob by Smart Media Player for advertising purposes.
Media or communication content may be transmitted to another device when you explicitly use Smart Media Player's local-network sharing, streaming, or communication features.
Smart Media Player may display advertisements provided through Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).
Google Mobile Ads may collect or process information including IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID.
This information may be used for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes.
Advertising and privacy choices may vary according to the user's region and applicable laws. Where required, Smart Media Player uses Google's consent-management mechanisms to present applicable privacy choices.
Users may also manage or reset their Android Advertising ID through their device's privacy settings.

Smart Media Player offers an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase.
Purchases are processed through Google Play.
We do not directly receive or store your payment card or banking information.
The application may receive purchase status information from Google Play as necessary to determine whether the Remove Ads entitlement has been purchased and to restore that entitlement.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by Smart Media Player.
Most application functions and media processing occur locally on your device or through user-initiated local-network communication.
Data collected by Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
Users should understand that local-network communication depends on the security of the network and devices they choose to use.
Smart Media Player does not require a user account and does not maintain a developer-operated online account database containing users' personal media or communications.
Media files, recordings, preferences, and other locally stored application information remain under the user's control and may be removed from the device by the user, by clearing the application's data, or by uninstalling the application, as applicable.
Information processed by third-party services such as Google Mobile Ads and Google Play may be retained according to those providers' respective policies and legal requirements.
Users may manage or delete their Android Advertising ID through Android device privacy settings.
Smart Media Player is not directed toward children under 13 years of age.
The application's declared target audience on Google Play is users aged 13 and over.
We do not knowingly operate a service intended to collect personal information from children under 13.
Smart Media Player uses services provided by Google, including:
Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK for advertising.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for applicable advertising consent and privacy choices.
Google Play Billing for optional in-app purchases.
The handling of information by these services is also subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy when application features, third-party services, or applicable requirements change.
Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
