Hartig Park is Gallatin County's newest Recreational Area. With 500 Acres of Meadows, Hills and Hollows, Hartig is a nature lovers dream come true.

No Off road Vehicles Permitted off the Paths and roads. Hartig Park Is not intended for recreational off roading, Violators will be required to repair damage and or Prosecuted for property Damage.

Hunting Dates are open at Hartig Park for the fall 2023 Season
No Camping at the park on these dates
Youth Hunt Dec 30th and 31st
on the below dates no camping and or visitors using the walking trails will be permitted for safety purposes the park will be opened to selected applicants to deer hunting for wild life control.

Hunting requirements
Must be a Gallatin County Resident
Must Be registered with the Gallatin County Judge's Office
Specify Hunting Dates requested on completed application on file
Must posses a Valid Ky Hunting License from KDFWR
all Kentucky Division of fish and wildlife resources regulations apply
