I am a quantitative social scientist focused on the climate resilience of complex human and natural systems. Read more about me.
My training is in environmental and natural resource economics, and I study how individuals' decisions aggregate to shape their community's responses to climate change. I currently research the resilience of commercial fishing communities to marine heat waves. See my research.
I am a PhD candidate at UC Davis living in Oakland, CA.
I am on the job market this fall (AY 2025-2026), and can be reached at gkoss@ucdavis.edu.
