Gail M. Rosenbaum, PhD

About

I am currently a Staff Scientist in the Behavioral Insights Team at Geisinger Health, where I apply insights from research on judgment and decision making to improve healthcare decisions and outcomes for Geisinger patients and employees.

I received my Ph.D. in Psychology from Temple University, where I studied how situational factors (e.g., the way information about risk is learned, the presence of peers) affect adolescent risk taking. I subsequently completed an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellowship at New York University, where I used brain imaging and computational modeling to understand the development of decision making across adolescence. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University.
