                            The Schupp Distinguished Lecture

The Schupp Distinguished Lecture for an outstanding scientific result in group theory and related areas is an international distinction conferred every two years at an installment of the Geometric and Asymptotic Group Theory with Applications (GAGTA) conference series.  It celebrates Paul Schupp's memory and ethos

by highlighting outstanding recent work that establishes and enforces links between group theory and other areas.

The Schupp Distinguished Lecture will take place in alternating years during the GAGTA conference, with the inaugural lecture delivered at GAGTA 2025, expected to take place in Batumi, Georgia in August 2025.
