Practical info

Travel

The University of Georgia is in Athens, approximately 75 miles northeast of Atlanta.  To get to Athens, fly to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).

You can then get a shuttle to Athens through Groome Transportation, which will take you directly to your hotel and return back to ATL.  Reservations are strongly recommended. For the return trip, decide for yourself at what time you need to be at ATL; Groome tends to overestimate.

Another option, suitable for groups is Drivers seat.

The venue

The talks will take place at the Department of Mathematics, in the Boyd Research and Education Center, room 328.

Parking

There is a parking deck just a few blocks from the math department where the talks will be held. It costs about $10/day. During evenings and weekends you can park anywhere on campus (except the parking deck) at no cost. There are several parking lots right next to the department.

Accomodations

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Georgia Center and Holiday Inn Express. Please indicate on the registration form whether you would like to use one of them. For the supported participants the reservation and the payment will be made directly by the Mathematics Department.
