Spanish Immersion

Events

In order for our children to become fully immersed in the Spanish language, it is only natural for them to learn about other cultures – from Mexico, to Spain to El Salvador, etc. Our teachers have created an environment that promotes learning in a fun and interactive way. Additionally, learning about other cultures creates compassionate children that will in effect adapt and thrive in a global economy.

In order to help supplement costs for these celebrations, we will often times send out a sign-up sheet for families to volunteer either their time or to bring specific items.  There are lots of opportunities to volunteer and participate, look for sign up sheets to come!

Dia de Los Muertos (Fall)

Each year our parents have helped organize a fiesta for families to come and participate in activities that are based around the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos – Day of the Dead.  The kids learn about the celebration in class throughout the week/weeks prior to November 1st and are able to share special time with parents, grandparents and siblings at this fun celebration of life.
