I learned there are many more issues of Information Security in the news than I expected. There were many new terms for me in this model as well. For example, I learned about phishing and social engineering. I also learned how to search news articles using Google's search engine.

X-based NFT phishing attack causes losses of over $691,000
1.3 Terabytes was stolen from the company Sabre, a global technology company that powers the travel industry from a gang of ransomware hackers. The data that was stolen was corporate financial information, passenger turnover and ticket sales data and personal employee information.
The Hackers compromised the Co-Founder Vitalik Buterin's account and made a post that contained a phishing link that required victims to link their blockchain wallets to the phishing site before receiving the NFT, allowing malicious actors to drain victim’s wallets.

Never click on unverified links, especially if they are in a spam email or on a strange website.
Scan emails for malware.
Use firewalls and endpoint protection.
Only download from trusted sites.
Keep backups of important data.
