Research Interests
My research is mostly about Philosophy of Perception and Philosophy of Action and is empirically informed by Cognitive Science. My main research interest is Vision and its relation to the Pictorial and the Motoric.
Several pieces of my research draw on the experimental evidence obtained from the contemporary literature on the ‘Two Visual Systems Model’, which is our best scientific theory of visual processing at the moment.
I am interested, in particular, in the following topics:
Picture Perception
The Relation between Ordinary and Pictorial Perception
The Relation between the Pictorial and the Motoric
Pictures and Action
Pictorial Space
Pictorial Attention
