About Me

I am Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Bergamo, Italy.

Previously, I was a Humboldt Fellow at the Institute for Philosophy II, Center for Mind and Cognition, Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany.

Before that, I was a NOMIS Fellow at Eikones, Center for the Theory and History of the Image, University of Basel, Switzerland.

I received my Ph.D. (2016) in Philosophy of Mind from the Centre for Philosophical Psychology at the University of Antwerp, in Belgium, where I was a member of the research group ‘Between Perception and Action’ led by Bence Nanay. I also received my Ph.D. (2016) in Complexity Science from the Department of Pure and Applied Sciences of the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, in Italy. (This was a Joint Doctoral Program involving the University of Antwerp and the University of Urbino and the award of a separate diploma within each of the partner institutions).
