The Rock Garden of Chandigarh is a sculpture garden which is also known as Nek Chand Saini's Rock Garden of Nathupur after its founder Nek Chand Saini. It is completely built from industrial, home waste, and discarded items. It consists of man-made waterfalls and many other sculptures that have been made of scrap and other kinds of wastes (like bottles, bangles, glasses, ceramic pots, broken tiles, broken pipes, etc). There is also a Dolls Museum inside it, which consists of 200 rag dolls made from waste cloth. It is located at Uttar Marg, Sector 1, Chandigarh.
It is botanical garden located in Chandigarh. It has 50,000 rose-bushes of 1600 different species and it is spread over 30 acres. It is named after India's former president Zakir Husain. It also has many medicinal values trees. It is Asia's largest rose garden. It serves as the host of many events, but it is also the venue for hosting an annual rose festival called Rose Festival, a major cultural event in Chandigarh during February or March. Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh is a 3 km reservoir at the foothills(Shivalik hills) of the Himalayas. It was created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, a seasonal stream coming down from the Shivalik hills. It is inseparable part of Chandigarh. During the winter its scenic beauty brings a lot of tourists here, blooming the local economy. For refreshing wind, its a favorable destination for our visitors.

The "Virasat-e-Khalsa" is a place of rich Sikh culture and religious history, situated in the city of Anandpur Sahib, birthplace of Khalsa Panth. Designed as a repository for the heritage of Khalsa, the museum highlights the history and culture of Punjab. The heritage complex has been built to emphasize the enduring teachings of the 10 Sikh Gurus. It is built on a 100-acre site at Anandpur Sahib, 85 km from Chandigarh.
It is a town and cantonment located in District Solan, Himachal Pradesh. It was established by the British Raj in 1842 as a colonial hill which is approximately 58 km away from Chandigarh. It is a tourist place which includes Central Research Institute, Baptist Chruch, Gurudwara Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Kasauli Club, Nahri Temple, Hanuman Mandir(Manki Point), Beja State.

It is a public museum having collection of Gandharan sculptures, sculptures from ancient and medieval India, Pahari and Rajasthani miniature paintings. Before partition much of the collections of art objects, paintings here were kept in the Central Museum, Lahore. It has one of the largest collection of Gandharan artefacts in the world. After partition 40% collection of Central Museum, Lahore become the share of the country. This collection was first housed in Amritsar, then Shimla, Patiala and finally shifted to the museum in Chandigarh in 1968. It is located in Sector 10C, Chandigarh.
Sector-17 is also called Chandigarh's heart . It was constructed at the same time when the city of Chandigarh was built. It has turned into a retail hub, entertainment hub, offices, Parade Ground, the Inter State Bus Terminus, general post office and many open spaces. It has a huge parade ground where Independence day as well as Republic day celebrations are organised every year.
It is a station situated on the outskirts of Panchkula in Haryana but is very close to Chandigarh. Being the only hill stations in Haryana, it is also a popular picnic destination for locals and tourists alike. Morni Hills is also an important archaeological site with carvings dating back to 7th Century. There are two lakes here as well which are interconnected despite the existence of a hillock in between; this makes it a good spot for birdwatching too.
IIT Ropar is a premiere engineering institute of Punjab. It is around 48 kilometers from IISER Mohali. With a 525-acre campus this academic institute was established in 2008 by the Ministry of Human resources, Govt. of India.
It is established in 1882 as University of Punjab at Lahore(currently in Pakistan). After partition, the University was established on 1st October 1947 known as East Punjab University. Initially it was located in Solan,then it was shifted to newly built campus in Chandigarh and it is named as Panjab University. Some of the famous alumni of the university are Dr. Manmohan Singh, Kalpana Chawla, Jagdish Singh Khehar, Kiran Bedi, Sushma Swaraj. It is located at Sector 14, Chandigarh.
