Upon entering the main gate of the IISER premises, there are two ways to reach the academic building. The most convenient and straightforward route is to take a left, which will lead you to the parking area of the academic building.
If you continue straight, you will find the administration building on your left-hand side. Further along, you will reach a T-junction. If you turn right at this point, you will arrive at the visitor hostel. As you go, you will pass the Health Centre on your right, followed by the Sports Complex on the same side.
On your left side, you will find the shopping complex, a Canara Bank branch, and a Rajasthani restaurant. Next to the restaurant, there is also a community center located on the same side.
If you take a left at the T-junction, the hostel premises will be on your right, and the lecture hall complex will be on your left. When you go from the hostel area to the academic building, you will find an information center that offers facilities such as a computer center and library.
