1974 French River, PEI - Ralph Hostetter
Ralph Hostetter called his summer home "Camelot East" and it stands high on a hill in French River, overlooking New London Bay. The A-framed building was designed in 1974 and includes an Island stone fireplace which is open to both the living area and the dining room. Mr. Hostetter was a Maryland newspaper publisher and a long-time seasonal resident on Prince Edward Island. These photos were taken in July 2025 and include the artist's sketch of the original summer home which was built by Eddy MacLeod.
