Fynn Erman

Who I am:

Hello! I'm Fynn Erman, a marketing major at Boise State University.

Filmmaking has been my "thing" for as long as I can remember. Back in Ketchum, Idaho (from 2004 to 2011), I used to sneak out of my room after dark to watch the television. Those were the moments that really sparked my love for storytelling, film captivated me. And oh boy, my VHS tapes got a workout, especially the Lord of The Rings series. Each replay felt like a new adventure.

As a young gun, I was all about Hans Zimmer's epic scores from Inception and the Dark Knight. Looking back, I chuckle at how obsessed I was, but it was all part of the journey.

I took a lot of acting, improv, and theater classes, to not only learn how to better express myself but also to get just a little bit closer to the film screen. Unfortunately, I never really found the opportunity to act in other people's work, so I decided to make my own. I began to make my own film productions, and, with the help of my friend Charlie Johnson, I made tons of award-winning films. Because of this, I gained vital experience in film directing, acting, cinematography, and editing. I'm full of energy and I like to express that through whatever work I'm doing.
