What level of proficiency is required to join FWJCC?
There is no strict proficiency requirement, however as a beginner you will be frustrated by limited participation (i.e. speaking and understanding Nihogo). As a minimum, you should be able to introduce yourself in Japanese and discuss activities done throughout the day (speak/listen) .
How can a beginner-level Japanese Language learner participate?
We plan to begin hosting break-out rooms for beginners who are not at the conversational level yet. However, this depends on native speaker availability.
How many native Japanese speakers will be available to speak with club members?
The club's coordinator will arrange to have at least one native Japanese speaker attending each meeting.
Of course, we hope to have native Japanese club members too.
