Main Information
Everything is cleaned daily to ensure your pet doesn't get sick.
No big birds or rodents.
We offer a 10% discount with every pet if there are two or more sharing the same living space.
Animals will only be let out of their cage if they are tame, this is because we won't be able to catch them to put them back in their cage or hutch.
We offer daily handling for your tame pets.
Rodents
Feel free to bring your own hutch along or use the spare hutch that your pet can stay in. The hutch is nestled in the veggie garden next to our own hutch that has our beloved mini-lop rabbits Buttons and Thumper. Please do not bring a large rabbit, there is no space for them. Your rodents won't be mixed with ours or anyone else's. The food bowls, water bottles and the whole hutch is deeply scrubbed in between each stay. This is to stop your pet catching a disease or illness to your pets and other peoples pets. We provide vegetables fresh daily for your rodent to eat as a treat through out the day.
Birds
Please bring along a small cage for your bird to stay in, this is to prevent disease reaching your bird. If you're away for under a week it won't really bother your bird much because if they're tame they will be able to spread their glorious wings out when they play on the natural wooden playground made from gum tree and lemon tree branches from our own back yard. The playground is cleaned in between each time a group of birds go on it. Groups are which birds are in which cage. Your birds do not mix and mingle with someone else's birds so they don't get a disease or illness. The food and water is replaced daily along with fresh fruit and vegetables. The cages are cleaned out daily.
Rats/Mice
Please bring your rat or mouse in it's cage, this is so your rat/mouse won't catch a disease off other rats/mice. The food and water is fresh daily with a side of yummy treats. We also clean out their cages daily as well. If your rat is tame (and doesn't bite) it can come out to be handled and played with. Your rats won't mix with other peoples rats for the same reason included in the rodents.
