We are people of all ages, many backgrounds, and many beliefs. We are brave, curious and compassionate thinkers and doers. We create spirituality and community beyond boundaries, working for more justice and more love in our own lives and in the world.

Unitarian Universalists across the world have a track record of standing on the side of love, justice, and peace. FUUNO has its own long history of being at the forefront of social justice work in New Orleans and we remained committed to building a more just and dignified world today. 

Unitarian Universalists is a non-credal religion—we do not require specific religious beliefs. We are unified by our shared search for spiritual growth, as well as a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. We are people of many beliefs and backgrounds: people with a religious background, people with none, people who believe in a God, people who don’t, and people who let the mystery be.

We are Unitarian Universalist and Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Humanist, Jewish, Muslim, Pagan, atheist and agnostic, believers in God, and more.

On the forefront of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer inclusion for more than 40 years, we are people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
