Research indicates that many parents and caretakers do not regularly count and track absences, and as a result they undercount them or believe they are closer to the average than they sometimes are. If you are not sure about your student's count of absences and would like to review them to see if your child has missed 10% or more of days scheduled, please visit the Futuro MyEducationData portal at https://futuro.myeducationdata.com/login and use your email to gain access to your child's profile and review the attendance section to see how your child's attendance record has been for the school year, and how it compares to the Futuro average in the school and your child's grade. If you did not provide an email upon registration or need help changing it, please contact the Futuro Academy office.
As a final note, please know that our goal at Futuro is not to have sick children at school or to spend energy to judge or scrutinize valid reasons a child could not attend school. To make sure we're capturing documentation of as many valid absences in a timely manner, we will begin allowing digital submission via a form starting in January 2024, and doing more personalized daily outreach to ensure we are more proactive to assist you in providing required documentation.
