BOARD POSITIONS NOW OPEN:

Social Media Manager

Role: Manage the organization’s social media accounts, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and/or LinkedIn. Responsibilities include generating content ideas, creating posts and reels, sharing flyers, and managing followers. You have full control over the content strategy for your chosen platforms.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and/or LinkedIn

• Creative mindset for generating content ideas

• Ability to schedule and manage posts consistently

Website Manager

Role: Maintain and update the organization’s website. Key tasks include updating the WeChat join code weekly and keeping the “Recent Events” section current with the latest activities and announcements.

Requirements:

• Experience with Google Sites or similar website platforms

• Attention to detail and ability to update content regularly

Marketing Manager

Role: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the organization’s programs and initiatives. Work collaboratively with other staff members, including Social Media, Communications, and Event teams, to create coordinated campaigns. Responsibilities may include creating promotional materials, managing advertisements, and tracking marketing performance.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff

• Familiarity with marketing tools, social media platforms, and basic design software

• Creativity in generating marketing ideas and campaigns

Event Planner/Manager

Role: Plan and coordinate events while managing a set budget. Responsibilities include scheduling, logistics, and ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish.

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Ability to work within a budget

• Connections with vendors or community partners (optional but helpful)

Discord Designer/Manager

Role: Design and manage the organization’s Discord server. Responsibilities include setting up channels, roles, bots, and moderating server activity.

Requirements:

• Active user of Discord

• Knowledge of Discord, Disboard, and related tools

• Ability to design and maintain server structure

Communications Manager

Role: Handle the organization’s communications via email or WeChat. You may choose to manage one platform or both. Responsibilities include responding to messages professionally and maintaining clear communication with members.

Requirements:

• For Email: Proficient in English, good grammar, and email etiquette

• For WeChat: Fluent in Chinese and familiar with platform use

• Strong communication and organizational skills
