Prof. Kim Selected as International Partner P.I 

for JST ASPIRE Semiconductor field Collaboration Project !

  Prof.KIM has been selected as an international Partner Principal Investigator (Partner PI) for a semiconductor funded by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) under its ASPIRE (Adopting Sustainable Partnerships for Innovative Research Ecosystem) initiative. The ASPIRE supported international partnerships across seven designated fields—AI and information, biotechnology, energy, materials, quantum, semiconductors, and telecommunications—and resulted in 35 newly funded projects under the tracks “ASPIRE for Top Scientists” and “ASPIRE for Rising Scientists.”

 According to JST, 17 proposals were selected from 54 submissions in ASPIRE for Top Scientists, and 18 proposals were chosen from 91 submissions in ASPIRE for Rising Scientists. The selected collaboration, led by IDE Keisuke at Institute of Science Tokyo with JungHwan Kim as Partner PI at UNIST, will focus on [Complementary Oxide Semiconductor Platform: LSI–TFT Integration via International Talent Mobility and Circulation] to strengthen a sustainable international research partnership and accelerate innovation in the global semiconductor ecosystem.
