About Me

Hi, I’m Jordan! 

As a first-generation college student from a tiny town in North Carolina, I graduated with a BS in Biochemistry and moved to medical school at 21. I’m currently 24, an MS-3, and aspiring to become a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician. I tend to stay pretty busy by being President of two clubs on campus, a med mentor, and a school ambassador. 

My first semester of med school was tough—I wasn’t used to studying large volumes of material and hadn’t developed effective strategies. That all changed when I discovered I learn best by drawing out concepts. Visualizing complex topics helped me grasp the bigger picture while also understanding the finer details. Now, I create and share these notes and resources, hoping they help you too!

During undergrad, I gained hands-on experience in Pediatric Primary Care, the Emergency Department, and a long-term care facility. That background has been invaluable in making sense of what I learn in med school and I highly recommend any aspiring med student to look for hands-on learning opportunities.
