Graduate Research AssistantI am a graduate student at the Department of Nuclear Engineering, University of Dhaka. I have completed my BSc in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Dhaka in 2023. My research interest includes Computational Reactor Physics, Code Development for Solving Neutron Transport Equation, and Neutronics Simulation. As a problem-solving enthusiast, I have experience in Python programming language and expertise in OpenMC to work on computational physics and nuclear engineering. As a Nuclear Engineer, I am dedicated to pushing boundaries and making a meaningful impact through relentless curiosity and expertise.
I am a graduate student at the Department of Nuclear Engineering, University of Dhaka, where I completed my BSc in Nuclear Engineering in 2021. My research interests are centered around Environmental Science, with a particular focus on the chemical/elemental analysis of environmental samples, especially sediments, water, soil, plants, utilizing nuclear technology. I have experience in evaluating natural radioactivity in sediments and currently employ Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) to investigate the elemental composition of the Meghna River's sediment. I am passionate about leveraging my expertise in nuclear engineering to address environmental challenges.
I am a graduate student at the Department of Nuclear Engineering, University of Dhaka. I am currently exploring different numerical approaches of solving the differential equations involving neutron transport and thermal hydraulic feedback associated with nuclear reactor cores. Development of computer codes involving any kind of physics, specially involving nuclear reactors, intrigues me the most. At the same time I like spending time playing around with different codes and softwares aimed for solving nuclear reactor and thermal hydraulics problems such as OpenMC, Moose, Ansys, Geant4 etc. I got my bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Dhaka in 2024.
I am a final year student of BSc Nuclear Engineering at University of Dhaka. My research interests are still undecided.Currently I am exploring new things on Radioactive waste management, Advanced Reactor modeling which will lead to a greater contribution in the nuclear field in the coming days hopefully. An industrial internship at INST,BAEC sparked my research interest in Nuclear Engineering. There I worked on neutron Activation Analysis. I am very much determined that I am hoping to be able to contribute something good in the Nuclear Industry.
As a nuclear engineering student, I have some interest in Reactor Physics, Neutronics Simulations but my main goal is to explore onto nuclear fusion site rather than fission. My goal is to work on fusion reactor simulations using MHD equations on various constraints. I am also interested in studying radiation analysis on the surrounding equipment of various Fusion Reactors.
I'm currently in my final year of B.Sc. and engaged in thesis work under the supervision of Md Tanvir Ahmed. My research focuses on computational methods, particularly in reactor core design and analysis using deterministic and probabilistic simulations. Additionally, I have a keen interest in thermal hydraulics, machine learning, and data science, which I'm actively exploring. As an aspiring researcher in the computational domain, I aim for a long-term career in this field.
