Prof. Dr. Bruce Lehmann Sánchez Vega - CV Lattes

PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics at IFT/UNESP (BRA), post-Doc fellow at Argone National Lab (USA), IFT (BRA) and UFJF (BRA). Currently, professor at the Department of Physics of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (IF/UFMG), Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Research interests in the General Theory of Particles and Fields, working mainly on the following themes: Alternative models for the Standard Model, Axion and ALPs, Dark matter, Neutrino mass, Supersymmetry and Renormalization group.    

Prof. Dr. Gláuber Carvalho Dorsch - CV Lattes

PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics at Sussex University (UK), former post-Doc fellow at DESY (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron, Germany). Currently professor at the Physics Department of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), and member of the LISA Cosmology Working Group - international working group associated to the future gravitational wave detector LISA. Main research interests are related to the interface between Particle Physics and Cosmology, with focus on the complementarity between cosmological observations and collider experiments as constraints on Beyond Standard Model physics.

Prof. Dr. Alexis Roa Aguirre - CV Lattes

I am professor at the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Federal University of Itajubá (IFQ-UNIFEI), Itajubá, Brazil, since 2016. My current research concerns various aspects of Mathematical Physics, especially in Classical and Quantum Field Theories. Recently, I have been working on the following topics: Integrability, Supersymmetry, Conformal Symmetry, Topological Solitons, Symmetry Groups and Algebras, Spinors and Clifford Algebras. Dr. Thaisa Carneiro da Cunha Guio - CV Lattes

PhD in Cosmology and Phenomenology of String Theory at the University of Bonn (Germany), Master in Particle Physics/Quantum Gravity at the University of Bonn/University of Cologne (joint program Bonn-Cologne Graduate School of Physics and Astronomy). Main research interests focus on cosmological and phenomenological aspects of String Theory and stringy-inspired models, as well as applications of the holographic principle and machine learning techniques for Physics Beyond the Standard Model.

Undergraduate in Physics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG (2011). Has Master`s Degree in Particle Physics and Quantum Field Theory at UFMG (2013). Currently working with quantum vacuum stability of 3-3-1 Models. Has experience in Theoretical Physics, focusing in Quantum Field Theory, Particle Physics and Cosmology.


Bruno Avellar Couto e Silva - CV Lattes 

Undergraduate and Master in Physics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Presently, is a PhD student at the same institution. Main research interests are related to Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, focusing in: Gauge theories, Topological solitons, Particle Physics and Cosmology and Geometry applied to Physics. 


Isaac Max Pereira - CV Lattes

Undergraduate in physics at the Federal University of São João del Rei- UFSJ. Master`s degree in Particle Physics and Quantum Field Theory at UFSJ. Currently working on his PhD in Phase Transitions in the Early Universe at Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG. Main research interests are related to the Theoretical Physics, focusing in Quantum Field Theory, Particle Physics and Cosmology.

João Pedro Carvalho Corrêa - CV Lattes

Undergraduate in Physics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG (2019). Has Master`s Degree in Dark Matter and Muon Anomalous Magnetic Momento at UFMG (2022). Currently working on his PhD in Dark Matter at UFMG. Has experience in Theoretical Physics, focusing in Dark Matter, g-2 Muon Anomalie, Quantum Field Theory, Particle Physics and Cosmology.

Daniel Aguiar Pinto - CV Lattes 

Interested in particle physics and cosmology. Currently working on electroweak phase transitions in the early Universe, especially on its hydrodynamical aspects and their possibly detectable gravitational waves.

João Victor Vieira e Sá Tolentino - CV Lattes 

He is interested in mathematical methods and conceptual interpretations in Quantum Field Theories, General Relativity, Super Symmetry and Super Gravity. Currently, he is studying Quantum Field Theory and Groups.

Luiz Carlos Andrade de Miranda - CV Lattes 

Undergraduate in Physics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG (2021). Master's student (UFMG). Has experience in inflationary theories and general relativity. Currently working on models of reheating after the inflationary period. Main research interests are cosmology and particle physics.

Marcos Paulo Moreira - CV Lattes 

Undegraduated in Physics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG (2023). Presently, is a Master's student at the same institution. Mainly interested in quantum field theories, quantum gravity, mathematical methods applied to physics and problematic issues of quantum mechanics. Currently working on the application of the prolongation method to determine symmetries in topological defects.

Undergraduate student in Physics at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais since 2021. Currently, the research interests are in areas related to theoretical Physics, Cosmology, and Astrophysics, such as topics related to gravitation, unification theories, and particle Physics.

Giovanna Fernandes do Valle - CV Lattes 

Undergraduate student in physics at UFMG. Interested in theoretical physics and mathematics, especially in topics related to physics beyond the standard model. Recently started studying asymptotic methods and renormalization groups, and intends to continue it with applications in the areas of particle physics and cosmology.

Marcos Souza de Jesus - CV Lattes 

As an undergraduate physics student, I'm intrigued by the Nöther symmetries approach to fundamental theories. My long-term aim is to uncover connections between Quantum Field Theory (QFT) and General Relativity (GR). Currently, I'm delving into Renormalization Theory in QFT and studying General Relativity.

Pedro Resende Saraiva Teixeira - CV Lattes 

Undergraduate physics student at UFMG with interest in theoretical physics and the standard model. Recently, I devoted myself to studying a renormalization method in quantum field theory. I intend to continue focusing on particle physics and deepening my understanding of the standard model.

Currently researching in Models Beyond the Standard Model, more precisely, the stability sector of the 3-3-1 economical model. He has interests in renormalization group, effective potential and the quantum theory of fields.



Deivide Kenede Esteves (Master) - CV Lattes 

Has experience in Physics, with emphasis on wave–particle duality and physics teaching. He is interested in neutrino physics, Quantum Field Theory and their applications. Currently, he is studying finite temperature field theory and phase transitions.


Gabriel de Sousa Pinto Martins Cruz (Master) - CV Lattes

Has experience in Experimental Physics, with emphasis on EPR, and in Physics Education. He is interested in Quantum Field Theory and Gauge Theory and their applications in Elementary Particle Physics. Currently, he is studying Weinberg-Salam Theory. 

Maria Clara Alvim Sousa (Master) - CV Lattes 

Undergraduate in physics at the Federal University of Viçosa. Have experience in computational fluid dynamics and was a CNPq scholar between the years 2014 and 2017. Currently working on her master's degree at Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG. She is interested in general theory of fields and particles, especially in the detection of gravitational waves.

 Vítor Guilherme de Souza Pereira (Master / currently at IIP Natal) - CV Lattes 

He obtained a bachelor's degree in Physics from the Federal University of Viçosa, during which he acquired experience in Condensed Matter Physics and General Relativity, emphasizing magnetic and frustrated systems, magnetic monopoles, and gravitational lensing. His main interests are in general relativity, cosmology, and particle physics. He is working on the Composite Higgs Model and the phase transition it may generate.
