Much of the main site of the baths was demolished in 1981 apart from the main facade. The site of Dance Attic Studios today only reaches as far as the approximately half way down the first pool. Around the building there are some preseved features, including the unmistakeable green and yellow glazed brickwork.

Looking up to the 3rd storey of the facade, two stone statues gaze over the North End Road. Neptune, the Roman God of the Sea sits with his trident looking out alongside Salacia, goddess of saltwaterwith her urn.
Equated to the Greek Gods Poseidon & Amphitrite they have remained the two most constant faces on the North End Road, seeing seven monarchs to date, countless changes in governments.
1948 was the first time the baths has been cleaned since its opening in 1902. The stone work was washed and scrubbed with wire brushes to remove the encrustations. A mix of water jets and steam cleaning is being used for tough areas.
