After a series of setbacks, a young talented swimmer finds new hope joining the circus.
Pinewood Studios Founder J Arthur Rank was behind a children's educational film filmed at Fulham Baths. At the time, it was said to have been the first time that a municipal swimming bath had been used by a film company for full scale operations.
The baths were transformed into a studio, complete with cameras, sound and lighting equipment, technical staff, continuity assistants, executives, and over one hundred extras. Private dressing rooms were repurposed for wardrobe and makeup. Visitors to the bath had the unique opportunity to witness the filming of a swimming race.
"...A hundred or so cheering extras turned the bath into a studio..."

Paramount Pictures took over the baths for a weekend to film scenes from Rosemary's Baby prequel horror flick 'Apartment 7A' , starring Julia Garner.
The location was chosen for its looks and similarity to studios in 1960's New York.
