How to Download DNA Data From Ancestry Account?
It's simple to download DNA data from your Ancestry account. To view and download your basic DNA data, take the following actions:
1. Open Ancestry.com and log in
Visit Ancestry and enter your login information.
2. Select Settings for DNA
Click on your username or profile image in the upper-right corner.
From the selection menu, choose "Your DNA Results Summary".
On the DNA page, select "Settings" in the upper-right corner.
3. Select the section for data downloads
To access the "Actions" section, scroll below.
"Download Raw DNA Data" is clicked.
4. Verify the Request
Your Ancestry account password will need to be entered again.
When you want to accept the terms, click "Confirm".
5. Analyze Your Email
For security, Ancestry will email you a download link.
Click the download link after opening the email; this link is typically only available for a short period of time.
6. Get the Raw DNA Information
The file, which contains your raw DNA data in.txt format, will download as a ZIP package.
