President and Founder:

James Dixon is a long time Gary, Indiana resident who came out of a lifestyle marked by addiction and drug dealing.  After a short time in prison, he was released to a Christian halfway house in South Bend, Indiana where he was mentored and found the Lord.  It was during that time, that he also connected with a ministry called Heroes Camp (heroescamp.com).  As a result, James has worked hard to bring a similar ministry to Gary, (beginning in 1998); using his own funds to rent the Salvation Army Church and gym so young men and women could come and find hope and purpose in Christ.
