Forked River Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the PC(USA) and as a Presbyterian Church we are led by a board of ordained Elders who guide the life of the church. DEACONS

The other board of ordained leaders in a PC(USA) congregation is the board of Deacons. The Deacons are responsible for ministry of care and compassion. At FRPC the Deacons visit ill and home-bound members, check on those we have not heard from in a while, bring casseroles when someone needs a meal, keep our prayer list. They pray for our members and help the pastor with pastoral care needs. They, like the Session serve 3 year terms in 3 classes. The 2020 board of Deacons is

Pastor

Rev. Jessica Dixon is Forked River Presbyterian Church's Interim Pastor. Pastor Jessica began her service with FRPC in September of 2019 and is working with FRPC as we work toward finding our new long-term installed pastor. Rev. Dixon is a professional Interim/Transitional Pastor and has served churches in Oak Park IL (near Chicago), and Norman Oklahoma. She is a graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago IL and St. John's College in Santa Fe NM. She is a Colorado native and loves her work in caring for our congregation and helping us navigate the complex work of preparing for a new pastor and finding our next minister.

Church Secretary

Sue Morris has been the secretary and center of the administrative life of FRPC since 2011. Her invaluable service to the church includes responsibility for most of the communications within the church, documents that are created weekly and monthly, assisting our leaders in the needs of our ministries and so much more.

Music Ministry

Our Session voted in August of 2020 to suspend our Music ministry for the foreseeable future due to the restrictions the COVID 19 pandemic has placed on our gatherings. Once it is safe to sing again in public worship we will hire a new Music Director and Bell Choir Director.

Maintenance Staff

Joe Mathis is the church custodian for Fetherman Hall. Joe serves the church well and is happy to hear from members about the needs of our building. FRPC is very grateful for Joe's service in our midst.

Tish Laird is the church custodian for the sanctuary building and is the longest term staff person at FRPC. She has served us well for over 20 years and we are grateful for the good work she does keeping our building in good shape.

Sunday School Coordinator

Jenn Jeremiah is the coordinator for Children's Education at FRPC. She leads our Sunday School, VBS and other family programs.

Youth Leader

Kelly Fitzpatrick is the leader of our youth ministries. She is a graduate of the Princeton Youth Forum and a long time servant in youth ministry at FRPC.
