Forked River Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA). We have been a part of the Lacey Community for over 125 years. We’re grateful for our heritage and excited about the future! With about 200 active members we are growing together as we seek to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to our world.
We welcome everyone to grow with us without regard to gender, race, ethnic origin, worldly condition, sexual orientation, disability, or any other human condition.
We open our doors to all persons to join in worship, fellowship, educational programs, and service.
More About Forked River Presbyterian Church
The purpose of the Forked River Presbyterian Church is to acknowledge and declare the presence and power of the triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
History Of The Forked River Presbyterian Church
Our church can trace its roots to a group of committed Cedar Creek (Lanoka Harbor) and Forked River Christians who banded together in 1828 at the urging of Mr. Amos Salter, an elder from the Old First Presbyterian Church of Newark.
The leaders of FRPC are the Session and Deacons, with the service of our pastor and staff.
An older Sanctuary section is joined by The Link to the newer Fetherman Hall section.
We are located at 131 North Main Street Forked River, NJ 08731
Money is important in the world we live — often inappropriately so. At Forked River Presbyterian Church we are learning about what it means to worship and live for God.
Presbyterians in the twenty-first century have a vision of ministry that is vibrant and inviting and reflects the love and justice of Jesus Christ.
