This is mostly for myself. I will use it to store all of my plans and writings :)
The motivation behind building Frostburn:
I'm hoping to expand it's setting, it's been in my head for a long while, and I've never been able to sit down and actually work on it. Real life has always gotten in the way of it. The characters that live in the story are nearly completely developed, and I'm hoping to give them a developed and vast world to live in.
The goal of the project:
I'm hoping to give my audience characters to grow attached to, and a world they can dream about. I want to tell the story of these characters, and allow people to explore a well developed world. Letting them solve the mysteries of it, as well as it's inhabitants
Frostburn's Unique Selling point:
While it is a Sci-Fi - post-apocalyptic story - set in an unrealistic winter setting, what I believe sets it apart from others like it is it's magic, and social systems. I like to think that I managed to expand on the concept, rather than rewriting an already written story.
Genre:
Apocalyptic Science Fantasy.
Reader Experience:
The world should feel dangerous, and I would like it to be a feature of the world that requires players to plan ahead. I hope the setting makes the audience think about how the world got like this, and I want them to question why things are the way they are.
Reader Tone:
Somewhere in the middle of a dark and bright story.

The game will be a visual novel with interactive elements that change the course of the game. Originally it was going to be a traditional RPG built in RPG Maker MV, but while writing the script, I found that this was a very story drive game, rather than a combat driven one. I felt that it would be much more enjoyable with detailed visuals, text and simplified combat, which is much more difficult to achieve in RPG Maker MV as a novice video game developer.
This visual novel will be built in Twine, complete with high quality and original graphics, dialogue interaction, and character stats.

Character customization including: name, physical features, and gender. These details are included in aspects of the story, and are currently not customizable. If in the future this is customization is needed, it will be considered and perhaps implemented.
