Do we start at 11? Or 11:15? The real answer is 11:15, but if you know our church, that is just when the music starts. And if you have been around for awhile you will have noticed that the majority of people wont be in the pews until about 11:45. It's just how we are! And we even get people who show up at 11!
Whether people show up at 11 or 11:15 it's probably best that someone greet them and make them feel comfortable when it's not clear what will happen next.
We are asking you and your family (what ever your family unit looks like) to show up about 10:45 to greet folks who may be new or welcome back folks we haven't seen in awhile! The doors will already be open.
Do it however you want. Assure them they won't be the only ones here if they arrive at 11! Bring left overs from the event you were at the night before and set them out. You just need to be willing to be present, introduce yourself, and make people feel welcome. However you feel the Spirit leads you to be most hospitable.
